6 year old Teri-Ann
What makes me happy – school, coloring in the lines and all in the same direction, winning at everything, candy, holidays (birthday always #1) and playing with my friends Michael Giles and David Marone.
What confuses me – my sisters inability to love school, having a boyfriend, school dances, why my sister always wants to brush my hair or put her stupid charm necklaces on me.
My Wish List – to marry my dad, never leave home, get good grades so mom and day will bring me out to dinner at the end of the term.
15/16 year old Teri-Ann
What makes me happy – Being with my friends and Adam, excelling in school, softball and running track. Halloween and my birthday.
What confuses me – losing a signifigant part of you to cancer and society’s response to you. The person my father had become, the person my mother had become. Why I didn't get my period yet.
My Wish List – for my mom to be more than a labeled “widow”. Never to leave home in fear of losing too many memories. College, marriage and children.

What makes me Happy – my college friends Kristen and Kate, living at school in Boston, going to parties, Red Sox
What confuses me – everything educational involving school, the reason Adam and I didn’t go to the same college, why tequila taste so bad, why I am so different from my family.
My Wish List – to be able to tolerate more alcohol, to be closer to Adam, to graduate from nursing school with high honors, to hold season red sox tickets, to be closer to my mother and sisters.

What makes me happy – family, friends and helping those in need. My best friend and now husband Adam. Providing people with laughter and cheer. Allowing one to stop/slow down/and enjoy life, Ollie. Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots.
What confuses me – my fear towards death, gas prices, society’s fear of touch
My Wish list – to become closer to my mom and sisters, to start a family, to live to see and enjoy that family, for my mom/sisters/friends to live long happy and healthy lives. To never let anyone bring me down. To love and to laugh.
